Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Daimler armored car (the manufacturer's designation DAC Mk.II) in 1:72 scale from IBG Models. The model captures the characteristic low silhouette of the vehicle with a turret carrying a gun and a coaxial machine gun. The Mk.II version differs from the original Mk.I in the revised mounting of the weapon and the turret. The small scale makes it a rewarding piece for a collection and for dioramas alike.
The Daimler was a British light armored car developed at the end of the 1930s and committed from 1941. It was armed with a 2-pounder gun and a Besa machine gun in the turret and was one of the best British reconnaissance armored vehicles of the Second World War. Over two thousand were built, and they served throughout the war and long after it.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic and clean up the small joints. Finish and paint the chassis and wheels before closing the hull. In a small scale, fine washes in the recesses and a light emphasis on the edges come out well. At the end, add dust pigments to the lower areas and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
