The German battleship Bismarck 1941 in 1:700 scale (FlyHawk) is a highly detailed plastic kit with photo-etched parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:700 scale from FlyHawk captures the German battleship Bismarck as she was in 1941. FlyHawk is known for exceptionally fine work on ship models; besides the plastic sprues the box also holds a photo-etched fret for the fine details and a decal sheet. The model is meant for more experienced ship builders.
Bismarck was one of the largest and most powerful battleships of the Kriegsmarine in the Second World War. She entered service in 1940 and became famous for the action in the Atlantic in 1941, in the course of which she sank the British battlecruiser Hood and, after a pursuit lasting several days, was sunk herself. She carried a main armament of 380 mm.
Decide whether you will build the ship with a full hull or in waterline form for a diorama sea. Glue the fine photo-etched parts, such as the railings and the aerials, with CA glue. Paint the hull and the decks with an airbrush before fitting the small parts of the superstructure; the finished model shows well on a stand or on a model water surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
