A kit of the single-seat combat aircraft Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon in 1:72 scale. The model is supplied for assembly and painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multirole combat aircraft developed jointly by the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and Spain; the designation EF-2000 was used for it since its development days. You can identify it by its delta wing paired with a set of small horizontal foreplanes ahead of the cockpit, so-called canards. It is powered by two turbofan engines with intakes below the nose. The aircraft serves both in air-to-air combat and in strikes against ground targets, and it is used by a number of European air forces.
This is a kit of the single-seat version in 1:72 scale — a model that you assemble and paint. The part count, assembly sequence, and available color schemes are given in the instructions included with the kit.
Dry-fit the parts first, especially the fuselage-to-wing joint, where a seam is hardest to fix afterward. Cut excess material away a little distance from the part and sand down the rest so no dip forms in the surface. Glue clear parts with cement designed for canopies; ordinary solvent-based cement fogs them. Mask the cockpit before spraying, not after the paint has dried. Build up the gray coloring in thin coats, or the fine panel lines will disappear.
The kit in 1:72 scale suits modelers who want a modern combat aircraft for the display case without giving up much space. Paints, glue, thinner, and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
