This resin, 3D-printed detail set from Reskit replaces the cockpit with a finely detailed replica of the late modification in 1:72 scale. The box contains 3D-printed cockpit parts and 3D decals that imitate the instrument panels and side consoles with a three-dimensional relief. The set is intended for models of the tactical F-111F version.
The F-111F was a tactical combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, used above all in the precision strike role. The late cockpit equipment modifications this set reflects match the end of its service. The cockpit with side-by-side seats is a strong interior feature on a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts with lukewarm water and detergent. Cut away the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply the 3D decals onto a smooth surface prepared with paint, like ordinary decals. An airbrush and gentle shading of the interior are recommended.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
