A detailing 3D-printed set of the jet engine exhaust nozzles of the legendary McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:72 scale from Reskit. The set matches the late versions of the Phantom from the E, J, EJ, F, G and S family and replaces the nozzles from the basic kit with a more faithful 3D-printed version with fine petal structure. It is not a standalone aircraft model but an accessory for raising the realism of the tail.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat multi-role fighter, one of the most widespread combat aircraft of the Cold War. The late versions of the E family were powered by engines with longer exhaust ducts, whose nozzles differ in shape from the early versions — which is why a separate set is made for these variants.
Wash the parts, cut the print supports off carefully and clean them up with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting; bring out the metallic shades and heat staining with metallics and fine washes.
This is a detailing accessory, not a complete model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
