A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter in the C, D, E and F versions in 1:72 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring finer tread relief as well as a more accurate shape to the rims. The set comes from the manufacturer Reskit.
Wheels from the box tend to be simplified in a small scale. Resin castings have crisper detail, which once painted clearly improves the look of the landing gear. The set is intended for the later versions of the Phantom (C/D/E/F), whose wheels differed from the early variants.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap because of the mold release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
