The Republic F-84F Thunderstreak was a jet fighter-bomber with a swept wing, created by reworking the earlier straight-wing Thunderjet. In the 1950s it formed the strike core of the US Air Force and it was also delivered to European operators under military aid. The cockpit has a large instrument panel and prominent side consoles, which are clearly visible under the canopy.

The layered artwork has a fine relief, so the individual dials, levers and lettering stand out and do not look like a flat print.
Spray the cockpit with the base color and let it dry completely; the surface under the elements has to be smooth, clean and degreased. Before applying them, follow the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set. The method of application differs between individual ranges, and the instructions state whether the elements are applied dry or by the wet method. Separate the elements with a sharp blade, transfer them with tweezers and press them with a soft tool so that they seat even in the corners of the panels.
For the builder who wants legible instruments in the cockpit and does not want to draw them with a brush. The work is short but calls for a steady hand, fine tweezers and good lighting. It pays off most on a model built with the canopy open. The set contains no kit, no paints and no glue, unless stated otherwise.
