Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the early versions of the F-86A Sabre fighter during the Korean War. The manufacturer Clear Prop Models supplies it as an Advanced kit, that is in a richer boxing: besides the plastic parts it contains a photo-etched fret for fine details and decal sheets with several marking options. It is a kit with a large number of small parts which, because of the demanding build, suits more experienced modelers.
The North American F-86 Sabre was the first American swept-wing jet fighter and one of the icons of the Korean War. The early machines of the A series faced their opponents in the famous area of air combat in the north of Korea and set the direction of postwar fighter development.
Clean the flash off the parts and use a thin cement for plastic. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. The natural metal finish of the Sabre will stand out with a good base and metallic paints; a gloss varnish under the decals will give a clean transition.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
