Color three-dimensional Kelik decals for the interior of the Folland Gnat T.1 trainer in 1:72 scale, laid out for the Airfix kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Folland Gnat T.1 was a British two-seat trainer of very small dimensions. The Royal Air Force ran advanced pilot training on it, and the machine also made its name in aerobatic display flying. With the tandem layout the cabin is clearly visible from both sides, so the interior is among the things everyone notices first on a finished model.
The set brings color three-dimensional interior elements: instrument panels with legible dials, side consoles of both cockpits, seat restraint belts and small controls. The elements have real thickness, so once seated they stand above the surface and look more three-dimensional than a flat print. The layout and dimensions match the Airfix kit in 1:72 scale.
The application procedure differs between ranges, so before applying them follow the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set. Clear the plastic interior parts of burrs and grease beforehand, so that the elements seat flat. Take the individual elements out with tweezers, try them in place dry and only then press them down with a soft cotton bud.
The set suits a modeler who wants legible instruments in an open cabin without the labor of coloring in dials with a brush. Working with it is faster than painting details and the result is even, even at a small scale, where dials would be drawn by hand only with difficulty. Even a less experienced builder will manage it, as long as they work with tweezers and do not hurry. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
