This fine add-on set in 1:72 scale adds two groups of details to a model of the F-15 fighter: the formation light strips along the sides of the fuselage and the blocks of the countermeasure dispensers for chaff and flares. On ordinary kits these elements are only suggested or missing altogether, so the set raises the fidelity of the finished model noticeably.
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is an American heavy twin-engine air superiority fighter. Formation lights make flying in formation easier in poor visibility, and the countermeasure dispensers serve as a defense against guided missiles. The set can be used across the F-15 versions.
The parts are very small, so separate them carefully and glue them exactly in their places on the fuselage. The formation lights are usually painted in their characteristic shades, while the dispenser panels are matched to the surrounding camouflage. We recommend working with a sharp knife and tweezers.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
