Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German experimental high-speed aircraft Heinkel He 119 V4 in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. Besides the plastic sprues the package contains photo-etched parts and a film with the instrument panel. It is a short-run kit intended rather for modelers with experience.
The Heinkel He 119 was an unusual German experimental machine of the late 1930s with an engine buried inside the fuselage, which drove a propeller in the nose through a shaft. The aerodynamically clean airframe with a glazed nose was designed for maximum speed. The V4 prototype went down in history with a speed record carrying a payload at the end of the 1930s. The machine never reached series production.
With a short-run kit, count on cleaning the parts up and a dry run before gluing. Fit the photo-etched parts and the instrument panel film with cyanoacrylate, glue the plastic with a thin cement and fill the joints. Mask the extensive nose glazing carefully. A smooth, well-sanded surface is the foundation - even out the German scheme of the period with a varnish matching the real aircraft.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
