Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet fighter Yak-3 in the Aces edition (Club Line) from Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. It is an older, classic tooling supplemented with new decals. The package includes color schemes for Soviet flying aces. The tooling belongs to an older series, so the model suits modelers who don't mind more careful fitting and cleanup of the parts.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 was one of the lightest and most agile Soviet fighters of the Second World War. It excelled especially in combat at low and medium altitudes, where its low weight and Klimov inverted V12 engine gave it excellent climb and maneuverability. Pilots liked it for its easy handling, and it was highly regarded among Soviet aces.
With the older tooling, plan on more careful cleanup of the mold seams and possible filling of the joints. Glue the parts with thin liquid cement for plastic, and apply a primer before painting, which will reveal spots that need further sanding. Cut small 1:72 parts away carefully with a sharp knife. Fine shade transitions and panel lines come out well with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
