Three figures of Japanese Army Air Force mechanics from World War II in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Japanese Army Air Force was a separate branch in World War II alongside the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service, and it had its own machines and its own ground personnel. The mechanics often worked in the open at field airfields, where the machines were maintained without a hangar and without a workshop. Figures in work clothing therefore belong with a model of a Japanese aircraft just as much as fuel drums or a chock under a wheel.
There are three figures of Japanese Army Air Force mechanics from the World War II period in 1:72 scale. The figures give an airfield surface action and scale at the same time, because the viewer only grasps the size of an aircraft next to a person. Check the particular poses and the parts breakdown against the illustration and the manufacturer's information on the packaging.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand the remainder down. Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry, otherwise the paint will not hold. The work clothing comes out with a darker glaze in the folds, and bring out the edges with a dry brush. Try the arrangement of the figures dry beside the model and only then glue them down; a scene looks convincing when the figures are looking at where something is happening.
The figures are supplied. The model, a base, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
