The M41 Walker Bulldog is an American light tank of postwar design that replaced the older types of the Second World War. It carries a 76 mm gun in a fully rotating turret, has a low silhouette and markedly better mobility than its predecessors. It was named after General Walton Walker. The chassis rests on torsion bars and on five road wheels on each side, and the crew consisted of four men. It lasted long decades in the arsenals of a number of armies, among them Taiwan, where it went through successive modifications.
A finished collector model in 1:72 scale with a body of die-cast metal. It is supplied assembled, painted and with factory printing, so gluing and spraying fall away. The manufacturer describes this version as a vehicle of the Taiwanese army from 1990. The paint finish and the markings match that treatment and are not intended for further work.
The model is ready to display the moment it is unpacked. Stand it out of direct sunlight, which harms factory paint in the long run, and remove dust from it with a soft brush or a stream of air. Use neither water nor solvents, as the printing of the markings and the numbers is sensitive to abrasion.
Suitable for a collection focused on postwar equipment and for anyone who wants to show in a display case how the light tank changed after 1945. For modelers it serves as a telling comparison of size when building in the same scale. This is a collector's item with fine parts, not a toy for children's hands. Neither a base nor a display case is part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
