A resin set of landing gear wheels in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft kit, but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more faithfully rendered parts. The wheels usually have the load of the aircraft suggested (a slight flattening of the tire) and fine relief on both the tread and the hub.
The McDonnell F-101B Voodoo was an American two-seat supersonic interceptor of the Cold War, derived from the single-seat Voodoo family and committed above all with the air defense command. The set sharpens the look of both the main and the nose landing gear of this machine.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and lightly sand the parting lines with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It pays to prime the tires and then even out the shades of gray or black with a light dusting; the hubs can be set apart by masking.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
