A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19 fighter in 1:72 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring finer relief on the tread and a more accurate hub shape. The set is made by Reskit.
Production wheels in small scale tend to be simplified and carry marks from the mold. The resin castings have sharper detail, which markedly improves the look of the landing gear once painted. The wheels are fitted in place of the parts from the box.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
