A 3D-printed resin set of exhaust nozzles for the MiG-29 Fulcrum in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It replaces the original nozzles of the Trumpeter plastic kit with a more faithful rendering with finely drawn petals and internal structure. The distinctive twin nozzles are a prominent part of the Fulcrum silhouette, which is why their detailed rendering shows at first glance. It is not a stand-alone model, but a detail accessory for the kit.
The MiG-29 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) is a Soviet, later Russian, twin-engine fourth-generation frontline fighter. It was created as a lighter counterpart to the heavier Su-27 and stands out for its agility and its powerful engines with their distinctive round nozzles. It serves with dozens of air forces around the world.
Wash the printed parts free of uncured resin residue, remove the print supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the dark metallic shade of the nozzles with dry-brushing and a light patina. Check the fit against your particular version of the Trumpeter kit before gluing.
This is a supplementary resin set, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
