Reskit 1:72 Mikoyan MiG-29 (9-12) UB wheels set is a resin set of landing gear wheels for models of the basic MiG-29 version and of the two-seat trainer UB version. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit of an aircraft.

The set replaces the landing gear wheels on models of the MiG-29 in 1:72 scale, specifically on the basic production version 9-12 and on the two-seat trainer and combat version UB. In a small scale the difference between an injection-molded plastic wheel and a resin casting is especially visible: the tread pattern and the spokes of the hub stay sharp and do not run together. This is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory from the Ukrainian maker Reskit.
The 9-12 version is the basic production form of the MiG-29 frontline fighter, which entered service in the first half of the 1980s. The two-seat MiG-29UB variant serves to train pilots; it has a two-seat cockpit in tandem and a different shape of the forward fuselage. Both machines share a sturdy landing gear suited even to operating from less prepared surfaces, which is why one set of wheels covers them.
Wash the castings in water with dish soap, cut the casting blocks off and level the seating surface. In 1:72 scale the parts are tiny, so work over a mat and use tweezers. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the tires dark gray, paint the hub with a fine-tipped brush and even the transition out with a delicate wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and it is not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
