A set of two 3D printed resin parts from Reskit in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a pair of RPL 541/542 external drop tanks of 2000 liters capacity that are hung under the French Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter. The accessory refines the stores configuration of a finished model.
The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine fighter with a delta wing. To extend its range it carried large-capacity drop tanks on the fuselage and underwing stations; the RPL 541/542 tanks are among the typical large-capacity tanks of this machine.
Wash the parts to remove uncured print resin residue, separate the 3D print supports carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The smooth surface of the tanks appreciates a careful coat of primer before the final color.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
