This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK faithfully renders the rear end of the powerplant of the Dassault Mirage F.1 fighter in 1:72 scale: the afterburner duct and the engine's exhaust nozzle. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the simplified parts from the model box.
The castings bring the fine detail of the inner wall of the nozzle and of its petals that is hard to achieve by injection molding in plastic. Small photo-etched parts are usually included as well. The result is a realistic view into the tail of the aircraft, which stands out especially on a model with the nozzle exposed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
