Nose armament for the P-39Q Airacobra 1:72 is a resin detail set that sharpens the nose armament of a fighter model. The set is meant for the Arma Hobby kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin detail set in 1:72 scale sharpens the armament in the nose of the American Bell P-39Q Airacobra fighter. It replaces the simplified parts from the plastic kit with a more faithful rendering of the muzzles of the weapons and the panels around them, and it is laid out for P-39Q models in this scale.
The P-39 Airacobra was an unusual American fighter with the engine set behind the pilot and the drive shaft running under the cockpit. The Q version carried a combination of nose weapons and underwing gun pods; the aircraft found its widest use with the Soviet Air Force.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts and separate them carefully from the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring out the muzzles of the weapons with a darker shade and a light wash; seat the small parts with tweezers.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base Arma Hobby kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
