Reskit 1:72 pylons for the MiG-29 (APU-470 and APU-73) are a 3D-printed resin set of launch rails for air-to-air missiles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin detail set from the Ukrainian maker Reskit. It is not a model but a set of underwing pylons and launch rails for a model of the MiG-29 fighter. It contains two APU-470 rails for medium-range R-27 missiles and four APU-73 rails for short-range R-73 missiles.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet and later Russian frontline fighter. It carries air-to-air missiles on launch rails hung under the wings, and the type of rail differs according to the kind of missile. The combination of the APU-470 for the R-27 and the APU-73 for the R-73 corresponds to a common air-to-air configuration.
Wash the print residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The thin rails are fragile, so work carefully and sand with respiratory protection.
It is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled; paints, glue, the missiles and the base kit are not included, unless stated otherwise.
