Pylons for the NAVY Vought A-7 Corsair II with MAU-11 bomb racks, 1:72 is a 3D printed resin set from Reskit for faithful stores pylons on the American carrier attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains stores pylons with MAU-11 bomb racks for models of the carrier version of the Vought A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft, printed from resin by 3D printing technology. The MAU-11 racks were typical of the naval rendering, unlike the US Air Force, which used MAU-12 racks. It is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model.
The Vought A-7 Corsair II is an American single-seat subsonic attack aircraft that served with the navy and with the US Air Force alike. It was marked by a large load-carrying capacity for armament on the underwing and underfuselage pylons, whose exact rendering differed between the naval and the land-based versions.
Wash the parts to remove uncured resin residue, carefully cut off the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Once a filler primer is on, you match the pylons to the shade of the underside of the wings.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
