A set of RS-82 unguided rockets in 1:72 scale for Soviet aircraft of the Second World War, which carried them on launch rails under the wing.
Responsibility details are not available.
The RS-82 is a Soviet unguided rocket 82 millimeters in diameter, which aircraft fired from launch rails under the wing. It entered service at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s and during the Second World War a whole range of Soviet types carried it, among them the I-15bis, I-16, I-153, Yak-1, Yak-7 and Su-2. It was used above all against ground targets.
RS-82 rockets in 1:72 scale intended for Soviet aircraft of the Second World War. The point of the set is to replace the coarsely shaped stores from the kit with parts with a sharp nose and thin fins, on which the difference is visible at first glance in small scale.
The parts are not polystyrene, cement for plastic has no effect on them, and super glue is used instead. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the shape of the fins is preserved. The most delicate points are the nose and the ends of the fins, so hold the part by the body of the rocket while sanding. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Work out the position of the launch rails under the wing and their spacing from the documentation for the particular type; the particular procedure is in the manufacturer's instructions.
For the modeler of Soviet aviation who is building a machine carrying RS-82 rockets in 1:72 scale and wants stores of a matching fineness. The rockets are fitted onto an already sprayed model, so the small parts suffer less damage. The set does not hold a kit, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
