An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian fifth-generation fighter Sukhoi Su-57 in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It comes as an unassembled kit in gray plastic with a decal sheet; once built it makes a slender twin-engine aircraft. Decent detail and a friendly build make the kit a good choice even for less experienced modelers.
The Su-57 is a Russian multirole fifth-generation fighter designed around reduced radar signature (stealth features), supermaneuverability and integrated avionics. The twin-engine layout with powerful jet engines and thrust vectoring gives it high agility, while internal weapons bays help keep the airframe outline clean. The aircraft is entering service with the Russian Air Force as a counterpart to Western fifth-generation fighters.
A thin plastic cement and careful cleanup of the mating surfaces are recommended, especially on the fuselage and the air intakes. Build and paint the cockpit and any external stores before you close the fuselage. An airbrush and a coat of primer suit the convincing digital camouflage scheme; apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
