The plastic kit Sd.Kfz.247 Ausf.A in 1:72 scale from First to Fight captures the German armored command vehicle of the early Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz.247 Ausf.A armored command vehicle in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand First to Fight. The package contains plastic sprues, a decal sheet and two crew figures. The layout of the parts is clear and the suspension is deliberately simplified, which speeds the build up.
The Sd.Kfz.247 was an open, lightly armored command vehicle meant for the commanders of motorcycle and reconnaissance units. The Ausf.A version stood on a six-wheeled chassis and carried no fixed armament, because its task was transport and communication rather than fighting. It was a fairly rare type built only in small numbers, and it appeared at the front only exceptionally.
Cut the small parts off carefully with a sharp knife at this scale and glue them with thin plastic cement. The open body allows a view inside, so it pays to paint the interior and the figures before closing it up. Spray the base coat with an airbrush over a primer and bring out the details with a wash and dry-brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
