1:72 StuG III Ausf.G Feb 1943 Alkett Prod. is a plastic kit of the German assault gun from the MiniArt brand, in the production form of February 1943.

An injection-molded plastic kit of the German assault gun Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer MiniArt. The box is aimed at one particular production batch: vehicles built at the Alkett works in February 1943. Such a narrow definition is typical of this range, and modelers who follow developmental features choose by it deliberately.
The Sturmgeschütz III was created as a tracked assault gun on the chassis of the Panzer III tank, that is as a vehicle without a rotating turret and with the weapon built directly into a low hull. Its low silhouette made it a difficult target and its role shifted gradually from the original infantry support to destroying tanks. The Ausf. G version is the most numerous and the latest production form of the type: it carries the 7.5 cm StuK 40 gun with a barrel length of 48 calibers and further changes were added during production, such as side skirts or a changed gun mantlet. The vehicles were built by the Alkett and MIAG works and their examples differ in detail, which is why models usually state the maker and the month of production as well.
In 1:72 scale the parts are small, so work with a sharp blade, good light and apply the cement sparingly - any excess would flood the fine relief. Paint the running gear and the tracks separately. German machinery of 1943 is usually displayed over a dark yellow base with camouflage; even in a small scale a fine wash into the joints and a discreet dusting of the lower sections pay off.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
