Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Tiger II Ausf.B heavy tank, known as the King Tiger, in 1:72 scale from Revell. The model captures the configuration with the production turret, offers fine surface detail, a rotating turret with gun elevation, injection-molded tracks and optionally open hatches. Zimmerit is not included. The model is supplied as a kit to be glued and painted.
The Tiger II was the heaviest German tank fielded in series production during the Second World War. It combined the thick armor of the Tiger I with armor slope on the Panther pattern and carried a long 88 mm gun with outstanding penetrating power. It was a feared opponent, but heavy, unreliable and demanding on fuel and production, so its mobility was limited; it was fielded from 1944 on the Eastern and Western Fronts, where it excelled in defensive fighting and ambushes.
Cut the parts off and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Paint the running gear before you close the hull, and only then add the wheels and the tracks. Complete the Dunkelgelb base with three-tone camouflage in brown and green, bring out the panels and the rivets with a wash and create mud and dust effects on the running gear with pigments; bring the sharp edges and the walking surfaces to life with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
