Ukrainian Defenders, Set II (1:72) from the maker MARS are unpainted soft plastic figures depicting present-day Ukrainian infantry.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted soft plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the maker MARS. The package holds 40 figures in 8 poses and follows on from the first part of the range. This is not an equipment model but a collection of infantry figures for a diorama and tabletop games.
The set gives a matter-of-fact depiction of present-day Ukrainian infantry from the period after 2022. The poses are varied and include soldiers with various weapons, the crew of a man-portable air defense system and an operator with a small reconnaissance drone. The figures thus reflect the shape of modern infantry combat.
The figures are of soft plastic, so it pays to clean the mold parting line off them and to treat them before painting with a suitable flexible primer, so that the paint holds well. Matte acrylic paints and gentle highlighting of the gear and weapons work well for painting.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
