A Western weapon adapter for the MiG-29 Fulcrum (2 pcs) in 1:72 scale from Reskit – 3D-printed resin pylons that allow the GBU-39 SDB and GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) bombs to be carried.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. It contains a pair of 3D-printed resin adapters (pylons) in 1:72 scale that let a MiG-29 fighter model carry Western precision-guided munitions – the GBU-39 SDB small-diameter bomb and the GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) bomb.
The MiG-29 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) is a Soviet twin-engine frontline fighter. In recent years Ukrainian MiG-29s have been modified to carry Western precision-guided munitions by means of special adapters. The GBU-39 SDB is a small-diameter glide bomb, the GBU-62 (JDAM-ER) is a bomb with a guidance and wing kit for extended range. The accessory captures the interface between the Soviet pylon and these weapons.
In 1:72 the parts are tiny – work carefully. Wash the 3D-printed resin parts free of print resin residue, cut off the print supports and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush according to period photographs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
