69.035 Chipping Brown Matt

Vallejo Mecha Color Chipping Brown, a matte acrylic paint

The brown Chipping Brown shade from the Mecha Color range is a water-thinnable acrylic in a matte finish in a 17 ml dropper bottle. The shade suits an undercoat beneath the paint to suggest worn finish and corrosion, and brown areas in their own right as well. The Mecha Color range puts the emphasis on resistance of the surface to abrasion, scratches and knocks. The paint is non-toxic and odorless.

Use

• It is applied with an airbrush and with a brush; for spraying it can be thinned with water, an airbrush thinner or a flow improver.
• Ideal as a base for the chipping technique (imitating flaked finish and abraded metal).
• The matte surface takes washes, pigments and further weathering well.
• Shake before use and apply in thin coats.

Who it is for

For modelers of gunpla and sci-fi kits and of military vehicles who wear surfaces down with chipping and weathering.

A water-thinnable acrylic paint. Store at room temperature out of the reach of children. Ventilate when airbrushing.
