The set of sensors and antennas for the Su-25SM in 1:72 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of sensors and antennas for a model of the upgraded Su-25SM attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the small protruding items on the airframe, which in plastic tend to be needlessly thick, because a thinner shape would not come out of the mold. Printing in resin manages fine sections. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a finished model.
The Su-25SM is an upgraded version of the attack aircraft which was given new equipment for navigation and for working with armament. It is precisely this upgrade that can be told on the airframe by differently placed antennas and sensors; items tied to satellite navigation and to warning systems were added. For a modeler they are a good clue to which stage of upgrade a machine is, which is why it is worth rendering them faithfully.
Work over a surface and with tweezers that have smooth jaws; the parts are very small. Cut the supports off with a new blade; never break them. Cut off the original plastic stubs from the kit and smooth the area. Fit them only once the varnishing and the weathering are finished. Apply the glue with a pin in the tiniest drop.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
