The FAB-250M-54 aerial bomb in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed replica of underwing armament from Temp Models. An addition to a model aircraft, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings a 3D printed replica of the FAB-250M-54 aerial bomb in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. It is a classic unguided high-explosive bomb, that is the armament carried by practically every Soviet and Russian strike aircraft. It is not a model of an aircraft but underwing armament.
The unguided aerial bombs of the FAB series form the basis of classic aircraft armament: a cylindrical body with a high-explosive charge, a stabilizer at the rear and a fuze in the nose or at the rear. The number in the designation gives the weight class, and the letters after it the design form and the year of the pattern. On a model they are usually carried several at a time on racks under the wing. The designation FAB corresponds to a high-explosive bomb, the number 250 to the weight class and the suffix M-54 to the design pattern from the middle of the 1950s, which stayed in production for a very long time.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the underwing weapons separately and glue them onto the model only after the landing gear and the cockpit are finished.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
