Sun Yellow is a deep sunny yellow from the AFV Fantasy Color line, supplied in a spray can. A spray will be appreciated by anyone who needs to cover a larger area quickly and evenly and does not want to set an airbrush up for it. The paint is ready for use, it is not thinned and not mixed; it is enough to shake it properly and to try a burst on a piece of paper.
A striking yellow suits gaming and fantasy models, warning items and the markings of equipment, construction and handling machines as well as additions to a scene. Count on yellow pigment covering less well than dark shades: over a light base it comes out deep, while over a dark one it would need so many coats that they would clog the fine relief. So even the base out beforehand with a light primer.
Wash and degrease the model before spraying, because on a greasy spot the paint will draw together. Hold the can at a distance of about twenty-five centimeters and move it in a steady sweep that begins and ends off the model. Lay on several thin coats and let the surface dry between them, because a heavy coat runs and floods the detail. Work in a ventilated space and not in the cold or the damp, because at a low temperature the paint goes grainy. When you have finished, turn the can upside down and blow the valve through, or it will dry up.
