Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on set from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models in 1:72 scale, printed from photopolymer. The contents are a multiple ejector rack which, according to the manufacturer, serves for carrying, transporting and releasing up to six aerial bombs of the fifty to two hundred fifty kilogram class. The set fills out the stores of a finished kit and does not make up an aircraft model itself.
The MBD3-U6-68 is a Soviet multiple ejector rack, the counterpart of Western multiple racks. It is hung on an aircraft pylon and carries bombs in two rows of three, so a single hardpoint lifts six bombs of a smaller class. Thanks to that, tactical ground-attack aircraft and bombers could lift a large number of smaller bombs at once. The rack appeared on a wide range of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft.
The parts are printed from photopolymer, so thin print supports are left on them. Cut them away with a sharp scalpel or photo-etch nippers and sand the pad they leave with fine abrasive paper. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue, because polystyrene cement has no effect on this material. Lay down a filler primer before painting; it will at the same time reveal any remains of the supports. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
