The B-8M1 rocket pod in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed replica of underwing armament from Temp Models. An addition to a model aircraft, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings a 3D printed replica of the B-8M1 rocket pod in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. It is a block for unguided rockets of a smaller caliber, that is one of the most often seen underwing weapons of Soviet and Russian equipment. It is not a model of an aircraft but armament with which you complete a finished build.
The B-8M1 rocket pod is a cylindrical casing with a large number of tubes for unguided rockets of 80 mm caliber. The rockets are fired in a salvo, so a single pod covers the whole area of the target with fragments or with a shaped-charge effect. The blocks are carried in twos and in fours under the wing, and in photographs of ground-attack aircraft and helicopters it is the most typical load of all.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the underwing weapons separately and glue them onto the model only after the landing gear and the cockpit are finished.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
