Flowering shrubs are among the elements that give a diorama depth and scale. A single shrub fills the corner of a base, several in a row suggest the edge of a path, a garden or an overgrown wall. Pink flowers at the same time break up the green and brown surface on which a model scene is usually built and draw the eye to the place where you want to direct the viewer.
Medium-sized shrubs of synthetic material, each with a thin stem by which the shrub can comfortably be picked up with tweezers and pushed into a base. The rendering matches 1:35 scale and figures of 75 and 90 mm. The exact quantity and dimensions are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Adjust the height with small scissors; the shrubs do not have to be the same height, and uneven heights look more natural than a level row. Drill or pierce a hole in the base and glue the stem into it with PVA glue. Hold the shrub with tweezers until the glue has set. Combine several shades and densities side by side; a uniform surface of one color looks artificial. Around the foot of a shrub add some soil, gravel or scatter and pour diluted glue over them, so that the transition between the plant and the terrain does not show.
A base, terrain compound, scatter, glue and figures are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
