Omask copper wire 0.2 mm in a length of 50 cm is the finest version of soft copper wire — for the smallest wiring, lines and details. It is raw stock (a material), not a kit.

Copper wire 0.2 mm in diameter and 50 cm long from the manufacturer Omask. It is neither a kit nor a finished part — it is raw stock, a basic modeling material. Its thin section makes it the wire for the finest detail, where a thicker wire would already look coarse and out of place.
Because it is soft and malleable. You bend the wire with your fingers or with tweezers, shape it precisely and it keeps that shape — it does not spring back. That is its fundamental advantage over steel, with which precise lines around an engine can only be shaped with difficulty. Copper is easy to cut and can be soldered if needed.
Between the 0.2 and the 0.3 mm version there is only one difference, the diameter. The rule is simple: thinner wire = finer detail and smaller scales, thicker wire = larger scales and joints that carry more. This 0.2 mm version is the finer of the pair — reach for it where a line should look hair-thin. For more prominent lines, pins and reinforcement get the thicker 0.3 mm wire alongside it; in practice the two diameters complement each other.
Copper cannot be glued with polystyrene (modeling) cement. That works by melting the plastic — it does not melt metal and no joint is formed. On copper wire use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy, or solder the wire in place. Before painting, degrease the wire and go over it with a primer: paint takes badly to smooth bare copper and flakes off.
This is a material (a raw material) for modeling work, not a kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
