Thirty-five blue tufts six millimeters high for night, frosty and magical scenes on bases and in dioramas.

Night on a model is not made with darkness but by shifting the colors toward the cold. Blue growth is one of the simplest ways to tell the viewer that a scene takes place by moonlight, or somewhere the sun shines a different color. The shade is part of the fiber, so the laborious overpainting that would stick the thin tips together anyway falls away.
The bag contains thirty-five tufts, each with fibers six millimeters long. The quantity is enough for several bases or for one smaller scene in which you want to keep the cold cast at every level, that is, not only in the growth but also in the shadows and in the color of the soil.
One caution is needed. A cold color on a small area quickly slips toward the impression of a plastic toy if everything around it is neutral. It helps to add two or three further cold elements to the scene, for instance a bluish reflection on a puddle, a dark blue-gray stone and a fine blue pigment rubbed into the shadows under the tufts.
The material gets on well with water-thinnable paints, so once the tufts are glued down you can still unify the scene with a fine mist. Keep your distance while doing so, so the fibers do not get wet enough to lie down, and then let them dry freely without a hairdryer.
