A fine material for making bushes and low growth on dioramas, in an early summer shade. Usable in the common modeling scales.
Responsibility details are not available.
The material is intended for bushes and low growth on dioramas, on display bases and on model railroad layouts. Greenery is often exactly what a scene needs to convince: bare ground with a model on it looks empty, whereas a bush by a wall, at the foot of a trunk or in a ditch settles the scene into a landscape at once. The fine structure of the material also suits places where bushes are only an addition and should not pull attention away.
The name refers to the fresh green of early summer, that is, to the period when the growth is already fully up but has not yet dried out into the yellow and brown tones of late summer. A shade like this suits scenes with lush vegetation and sits well next to deep green grass. A combination of two or three close shades always looks more natural than a single area of one and the same color.
First coat the ground with PVA glue, press the material onto it in small amounts and tap off the excess once it has dried. Work in clumps rather than as a continuous area, because real bushes grow irregularly. Firm up the finished greenery with thinned PVA glue applied with a sprayer. Keep an eye on the height against the figures, so that a bush does not read as a tree.
The base, the glue and other scenic materials are not included, unless stated otherwise.
