Grass foliage for dioramas, display scenes and bases under models. The subject is a flowering meadow, that is growth in which small flowers stand among the blades. Two dimensions are given: the sheet area of 10 x 15 cm and the figure 15 mm, which with grass foliage corresponds to the length of the growth.
Cut the sheet to the shape of the area you want to grass over. Straight edges give the cut away, so tear them or trim them irregularly instead and let them blend into the surroundings. Glue onto a dry, degreased base and apply the glue in sections, so that it does not dry before you have settled the area. Then run your fingers through the growth so that the blades do not all stand one way, and press it down to the ground wherever the scene suggests people walked or vehicles drove. You will unify the transition to a road or to the edge of a base with a fine scatter and a small tuft.
If you want to bring the foliage closer to the season of the scene, tone it only lightly and spray from a greater distance, so that the blades do not stick together. Judge the color version of the variant from the illustration and the data on the packaging, as the designation is ambiguous.
It suits builders of dioramas and scenes with vehicles, with aircraft and with figures. Its use is not tied to one scale; what decides is the length of the growth: in smaller scales it comes out as tall grass, in larger ones as low growth. An area of 10 x 15 cm is enough for a base under one model or for completing a larger scene.
