Gold

Vallejo Model Color Gold

Model Color Gold is a water-based acrylic metallic paint with a genuine metal pigment that gives the surface a gold sheen. It is applied with a brush, and with an airbrush once thinned. The bottle holds 17 ml and has a dropper. Metallic pigments sink to the bottom, so stir the paint thoroughly before use and during work.

Use

• Gilded elements, fittings, ornaments, insignia and figure accessories.
• It looks best on a smooth, even base.
• Brushed on directly; for the airbrush it is thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner.
• Metallics take masking and overspray badly, so apply them toward the end.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters who need an opaque acrylic gold metallic for brush and airbrush.

A water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic. Shake it thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles. Protect from frost.
