GT65I - a spare 1.20 mm blade for the Mr. Line Chisel GT-65 scriber from Gunze (Mr. Hobby). The widest blade in the range, for the handle you have to own; for the coarsest grooves on giant models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a spare scriber blade, not a standalone tool. It is set into the Mr. Line Chisel GT-65 scriber (the handle) from Gunze (Mr. Hobby), which you have to obtain separately - without it you cannot clamp the blade. The width of 1.20 mm is the widest in the whole range, and therefore the most specialized and the coarsest choice.
Molded parting and panel lines fill in once seams have been sanded and a clear coat has been applied and stop being visible. With a scriber you deepen them again so that they stay sharp and legible and so that a wash can be run into them to bring the line out. You proceed by pulling toward you along a template, in repeated light strokes; the pressure determines how heavy the groove is.
For modelers who need really massive lines on very sizable builds. As the widest blade it is a tool for specific situations - it does not suit the fine panel lines of ordinary scales. There, choose the narrower blades (0.10 to 1.00 mm), or the shallow blades for a discreet suggestion.
The blade is very sharp - engrave away from your fingers, use a template and store out of the reach of children.
