The Revell Hand Drill is a simple tool for drilling small holes precisely into plastic models without power tools. It is held in the hand like a pencil, and the bit is clamped into the chuck at its end. The package holds 3 bits in diameters of 0.7 mm, 1.0 mm and 1.3 mm, the sizes commonly used on models. It suits smaller jobs where a power drill would be needlessly coarse.

Use

• Drilling holes for barrel tubes, antennas, grab handles and rigging
• Starting a pilot hole for a pin when gluing small parts
• Opening up holes for additional photo-etched or resin accessories
• Clamp the bit in the chuck and turn the drill slowly with your fingers, square to the surface
• Load a thin bit only lightly so that it does not break
