A resin set of launchers and pylons for a model of the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the parts the stores under the wing hang from and are fired from. A plastic kit usually simplifies them, while the resin print manages even the guide rails and the small locks. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for the armament.
The Su-25 carries a broad range of stores on the pylons under its wing: rocket pods, bombs, guided missiles against ground targets and close-combat missiles for its own defense. Each of those stores has its own type of mount, so several different parts come together under a single aircraft. For a modeler that means a faithful underside depends on the mounts just as much as on the ordnance itself.
Release the parts from the supports over a work mat and level the seating faces on abrasive paper laid on glass. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the pylons separately from the airframe and fit them only once they are painted. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) applied in small drops.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
