A resin set of landing gear wheels for a model of the MiG-15 fighter in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. Printing in resin brings out the tread pattern and the shape of the rim without the mold seam that a plastic wheel has down the middle. It is not an aircraft kit but replacement parts for your own model.
The MiG-15 is a first generation single-engine jet fighter with a swept wing and with a circular air intake in the nose. It was built in enormous numbers, served in dozens of countries including Czechoslovakia, and belongs among the most frequently built modeling subjects at all. Its landing gear is simple and rugged for its time, adapted to operation from grass as well as paved surfaces.
Cut the supports off with a scalpel and level the mating pad, so that a wheel sits square to the leg. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the tire a very dark gray and the rim separately after the real subject. On a machine from a grass airfield, a green-brown tone on the lower part of the tread suits it.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
