For this set the manufacturer gives finely detailed nose and braked landing gear wheels in the weighted state. It replaces the plastic wheels from the kit; an aircraft model is not included in the package.
The MiG-27 is a Soviet single-engine ground-attack and strike aircraft derived from the MiG-23 fighter. Its wing has variable geometry, the nose received a characteristic sloped shape without a radar, and for operating from forward surfaces the aircraft was given sturdier landing gear with larger tires. Weighted tires are exactly the kind of detail that plastic kits in this scale as a rule do not capture.
Cut the print supports away with a scalpel and sand the pad on the side that sits on the ground. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue. Lay down a filler primer before painting; paint the tires a very dark gray rather than black and add dust pigment, because this type routinely operated from field surfaces. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
