The wheel set for the Su-33 1:32, the 3D version is a 3D printed resin set of landing gear wheels for a model of the Su-33 in 1:32 scale, designed for the 3D printed landing gear legs from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin 3D printed wheels for a model of the Su-33 carrier-borne fighter in 1:32 scale with the deformation of the tires under the weight of the aircraft. From the set of the same name without the 3D suffix it differs in being designed for the 3D printed landing gear legs from Temp Models, not for the legs from the kit.
The Su-33 came about as the carrier-borne version of the heavy Su-27 fighter for operation from an aircraft carrier. It was given a folding wing, canards, an arrestor hook and a considerably strengthened landing gear, because touching down on a deck is much harder than a landing on land. On a machine standing still the tires are clearly settled and bear the marks of service in a maritime environment. Printed wheels capture this state without the simplification a mold demands.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Fit the weighted wheels so that the flattened part of the tire sits on the surface, otherwise the model does not stand naturally.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
