Hobby Color is a Gunze water thinnable acrylic paint. It smells considerably less than solvent-based paints, so it can be used indoors at a desk, and the tools are easy to clean afterwards. It is applied with an airbrush and with a brush, which makes it suitable for modelers who do not have an airbrush.
Olive is the basic color of military vehicles. A shade from this family was carried by American ground equipment, that is vehicles, transport crates and part of the gear, and you will also use it on diorama accessories. The look of the real finish varied with the production batch, age and weather, so you do not have to stick to a single tone; to fade an area, just add a little of a lighter shade to the paint and mist the upper surfaces.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, right down to the bottom where the pigment settles. For the airbrush, thin the paint with the thinner of the same range and apply it in two thin coats, letting the surface dry between them. Do not work the paint too long with a brush, because a second stroke into a coat that has begun to set will drag it off. Before masking, let the paint truly cure rather than merely dry to the touch, otherwise the tape will pull it off along with the base.
The paint suits modelers of military vehicles and diorama builders who want to work without the smell of solvents. The package contains only the paint, and thinner, tools and the model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
