Responsibility details are not available.
This shade from the DRYBRUSH range is prepared for the drybrushing technique, that is for picking out edges, projections and raised detail. In that technique the paint catches only on the raised places, so the surface gains a lighter outline and the model takes on depth to the eye. It is a finishing step that follows only after the previous coat has dried.
Lilac is a light violet with a lilac, rather cool cast. It is most often used as a lightening over a violet or purple base, where a purely white highlight would look hard. It comes into its own on the fabrics, hoods and cloaks of figures, on flowers and small vegetation in a diorama and on science fiction parts whose surface is to take on a cool color cast.
Take a stiffer flat brush, pick up a little paint and wipe almost all of it off on a paper towel. Then pass over the surface with light strokes, so that the paint catches only on the edges. Build up in several passes, because taking away is always harder than adding. Stir the container before work. Thinning is usually not used with this technique; if you do choose it, follow the thinner and the ratio the manufacturer gives for this range.
One shade is offered, not a set. Brushes, thinner and the model are not included, unless stated otherwise. The volume of the package is given on the packaging.
